Founded by Former Product Director at Google and Senior Tech Lead at Apple and Uber, Create & Learn offers amazing online coding classes for children in grades K through 10. Your child can learn to build games, stories, animation, and control robots through an interactive hands-on curriculum. Technical Requirements: All classes require a laptop or desktop device with zoom, a Chrome browser, and high Internet connectivity.




  • Scratch Junior: Students must have an iPad or Android Tablet to attend the class. You also need a computer. Please join Zoom from your computer.




Prerequisites:




  • No prerequisites: Scratch Ninja, Accelerated Scratch, Scratch Junior


  • Junior Robotics, Python 1,2, & 3, & Mobile Coding: Scratch coding experience and familiarity with block coding are highly recommended but not required.


  • Minecraft Modding Quest: For students who are new to coding, we recommend taking Scratch Ninja 1&2 first before taking this class. Chromebooks are not supported.


  • Roblox: Prerequisites: Advanced Level - Scratch 1-3 or equivalent, familiarity with basic coding concepts such as conditional, loop, variable, and events. Students should be ready to move up to text-based programming.



    • Technical Requirements for Robolox: 



      • Students must have a laptop or desktop device with Zoom, a Chrome browser, and high Internet connectivity.


      • Windows or Mac Computer (Chrome book not supported)


      • Students will need a mechanical mouse.

Accelerated Scratch 1,2,3
Similar to the Scratch Ninja class, but designed for older students, this class uses a variety of interesting topics to teach logical thinking and inspire creativity. Kids will be challenged to be creative and solve tough problems while learning the deeper computer science concepts.

Python for Artificial Intelligence 1, 2, & 3
Learn the core concepts of Python Syntax, loop, data types and variables, and explore more advanced programming elements such as Dictionaries, files, build-ing games, stories with real world data projects. Our classes are all project based. So rather than sitting there listening to lectures, you will be building projects throughout the class while learning all the essentials of Python coding.
