Beyond the Bell is an after school club for middle school aged teens looking for a safe environment to do homework, make new friends, enjoy various STEM projects while engaging in fun physical activity. Our dependable staff will encourage participants to be creative and innovative thinkers. Participants may be eligible for discounts at select Charles County Recreation events and programs with ongoing Beyond the Bell participation. The Beyond the Bell Program does not meet on days the school is closed, and when the school closes early due to inclement weather. All participants must arrange alternative transportation for inclement weather closures. The Beyond the Bell Program does meet on scheduled early dismissal days. **Please complete the Beyond the Bell Registration located under Membership prior to registering for the week(s). Introduce your child to the game of soccer by playing small-sided games based around fun and a structured learning atmosphere. The soccer skills academy is designed to build new skills that form a solid soccer foundation. Players will meet new friends as they progress through a series of fun skills sessions and games. Participants are encouraged to bring an age appropriate ball (size 3 & 4), water and shin guards. One adult required for the 3-5 year old class. Each six-week session meets once a week (6 classes).
