This is not a league. Non-competitive program designed to develop skills and promote fun while participating in loosely organized games. Players go through multiple skill building stations and play round-robin style games. Games and practices will be in one location. No class October 31, November 4-5, and November 11.
 
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Basketball Skills Academy - Fall 2025 - Beginner - Wade
This clinic focuses on the basic fundamentals and skills of basketball. Skills and drills will be taught during half court and full court segments on both offense and defense. Each hour session will be broken down into basketball fundamentals, individual and team shooting, and half and full court pressure defense. The main focus is to teach and stress the fundamentals that are important to becoming a better basketball player. No class October 31, November 4-5, and November 11. BeginnersFor players new to the sport or with less than two years of organized playing experience. Learn basic game rules and skills from experienced coaches to be better prepared. Intermediate/AdvancedFor players that have played more than two years of organized basketball and are considered to be advanced. Learn advanced skills from experienced coaches. Note: Instructor will have the authority to move participants to the class that better fits their skill level. No class October 31 and November 6. GirlsGirls will learn basic game rules and skills from experienced coaches to improve their playing ability. All skill levels.

Join a group of similar skilled players each week to compete in organized matches. Players will alternate team mates while playing 3 games per night. As you play games, you move up or down the ladder to play with and against similar skilled players. Each region will start with a random draw. Season will conclude with an end of the season tournament. Awards will be given to the top three players in each region and end of season tournament winners. All players are required to create a free profile and join the Charles County Pickleball Community on the Global Pickleball Network. School’s out… let the fun begin! Students on the Go is a tailor-made field trip program for students looking for a little adventure on scheduled school closures. Program offers students the opportunity to explore local attractions and historical sites in a safe, fun, and engaging way. Field trips are subject to change. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.*Fees to be determined by field trip* Additional Information: Program will be offered at Wade Community Center.  Program will serve participants 6 to 10 years of age and operate from 8am to 4pm on dates listed below.**Drop off will take place from 8am to 9am with departure times varying depending on field trip destination. Pick up will be from 3:30 to 4pm.Upcoming Field Trips:September 12st -Charles County Fair- The Fair is back in town with all the rides, animals, exhibits & food everyone loves! We will be having a blast there & we don't want anyone to miss out. So join us as we enjoy a Charles County Classic! (Students will need to Pack or Buy Lunch)November 11th- Air & Space Museum- Students will travel through time and space as they explore the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Exhibits include Planetarium, The Wright Brothers & The Invention of the Aerial Age, Early Flight, America by Air, Destination Moon, Exploring Planets, Nation of Speed and more! (Students will need to Pack Lunch)

Our instructors have created an engaging curriculum plan, and everyone will have a great time learning together. All playing equipment will be provided. Together with the instructor, students will engage in improvisational sketches, collaboratively designing material during the first session. The instructor will offer suggestions, but the primary goal is to guide students in selecting their own material, fostering confidence and creativity.Jewelry From EarthIn this eco-friendly jewelry-making course, students embark on a creative journey starting with recycled materials to craft environmentally conscious accessories. They will then advance to using polymer clay to design more intricate and customizable pieces. The course culminates in working with resin to create unique and polished items like bracelets, rings, jewelry boxes, and keychains. Along the way, students will explore their artistic potential while learning important sustainable art techniques, emphasizing the use of eco-friendly practices and materials throughout the creative process.Jr Crime Scene DetectivesExperience real-life application in Crime Scene Analysis. Become the center of the action as a CSI agent and conduct forensic science experiments. In the laboratory get ready to learn how to collect and perform analyses of evidence, record findings, and use critical thinking to find the culprit.
