Martial Arts - Little Dragons: Ages 4-6 Taught by William Blake - Students learn the basic principles and health benefits of any one of the three Martial Art styles of your choice listed below. Topics to be covered may include: kicks, punches, blocks, forms, tumbling, falls, breathing, history, and self-defense. At the end of the course, students will be able to test for a belt in their Martial Art style. Hapkido will involve tumbling. All adult classes at each location will be Tang Soo Do. Classes are once a week for eight weeks. Pre-registration is required; no walk-in's will be accepted. Online registration only. ***Parent Participation is required for Baby Dragons and Little Dragons classes. One (1) parent per one (1) registered participant is required to participate for the entire class. ***Class meets once a week per session. Time permitting, one (1) additional make up class maybe included due to a postponement or cancellation initiated by Charles County Recreation.An Additional Equipment fee of $45.00 will be collected at the first class.

Check out all of dance classes below.Classes meeting once a week for six weeks.Baby BallerinaBaby Ballerina class is an introduction class to ballet for our younger dancers from ages 2-4. This class is a parent and me class. It is a great class for parents to engage with their child. Students will learn the fundamentals of ballet and creative movements while having fun. Parent participation required. No class November 3.Ballet and TapLearn basic ballet and tap skills while learning the proper techniques and building strength. Classes will cover basic moves and work on choreography. All skill levels welcome. Parental presence is required. Students will learn the foundation of ballet along with dance terminology and working on flexibility.
