Standard Refund Policy


STANDARD REFUND POLICY
All requests for refunds must be received, in writing, seven working days prior to the start of a program. Fax requests for refunds are accepted at 301-934-5624.  After the program has begun, a prorated refund, based on participation, may be approved if requested in writing with medical verification received prior to the end of the program. No refunds will be considered after a program has ended.  A $10 administrative fee will be deducted from all approved refunds, regardless of circumstances, unless the program is canceled by Charles County Recreation.
 
Charles County Recreation utilizes the Charles County Citizen Notification System (CNS) to provide updates on program or facility cancelations and closures due to inclement weather. Sign up to receive free text messages or emails at www.charlescountymd.gov/switching-alert-systems. Notifications will also be uploaded onto the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Facebook feed.
