This recreation-based program, designed for both competitive and non-competitive swimmers, and will provide leveled instruction in a fun and safe environment.  Instructors may move swimmers to a different group after evaluating each participant at the first practice.Dolphin Group: Must be able to swim one length (25 yds) both freestyle and backstroke. Refines freestyle and backstroke technique and introduces breaststroke, butterfly, starts, turns, and finishes.Shark Group: Must be able to appropriately swim four lengths (100 yds) of freestyle, two length (50 yds) of backstroke and breaststroke and demonstrate butterfly. Builds all four competitive stroke techniques, starts, turns, finishes, and provides endurance training.In House Meet: October 3 • 10:00am-Noon @ Donald M. Refines freestyle and backstroke technique and introduces breaststroke, butterfly, starts, turns, and finishes.Shark Group: Must be able to appropriately swim four lengths (100 yds) of freestyle, two length (50 yds) of backstroke and breaststroke and demonstrate butterfly. 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM    Charles County Swim Club - Sharks Group - North Point Pool
This recreation-based program, designed for both competitive and non-competitive swimmers, and will provide leveled instruction in a fun and safe environment.  Instructors may move swimmers to a different group after evaluating each participant at the first practice.Dolphin Group: Must be able to swim one length (25 yds) both freestyle and backstroke. Refines freestyle and backstroke technique and introduces breaststroke, butterfly, starts, turns, and finishes.Shark Group: Must be able to appropriately swim four lengths (100 yds) of freestyle, two length (50 yds) of backstroke and breaststroke and demonstrate butterfly. Builds all four competitive stroke techniques, starts, turns, finishes, and provides endurance training.In House Meet: October 3 • 10:00am-Noon @ Donald M. **STOP** Please read what the level requires before registering!!Sessions consist of eight, 30-minute classes with one day focusing on basic water safety skills. Children should be able to perform all skills of the previous level before moving on to a higher level. Instructors may move children to a different level class if the child is unable to participate in the skill level of the registered class. Please contact the Aquatics Supervisor if health conditions warrant additional accommodation for participation.**Lessons labeled "INCLUSIVE" are inclusive for participants with disabilities who do not need individual one on- one instructions**  Guppies 1 Requirements: Ages 3-5 years old.Skills: Designed to teach water safety and introduction to basic swimming skills.
