The sessions will be led by the owner of Speak EZ for Kids and author of Mega Books on Public Speaking for Kids & Teens. Supplies will be provided. Participation is required during all classes.

Taught by William Blake - Students learn the basic principles and health benefits of any one of the three Martial Art styles of your choice listed below.  Topics to be covered may include: kicks, punches, blocks, forms, tumbling, falls, breathing, history, and self-defense.  At the end of the course, students will be able to test for a belt in their Martial Art style.  Hapkido will involve tumbling.  All adult classes at each location will be Tang Soo Do.  Classes are once a week for eight weeks.  Pre-registration is required; no walk-in's will be accepted.  Online registration only.  No class March 26 and 31, and April 2 and 4.***Parent Participation is required for Baby Dragons and Little Dragons classes. The Creative StylistAn exciting hairstyling lesson using a mannequin to create a braided ponytail that can be used for any occasion (school, dance recital, prom, interviews, etc.). This styling technique also teaches pinups, box braids, and cornrows. Course also has a supply fee of $50 to be collected at registration to cover supply kit that student will keep.   Finding Your GlowEnhance your natural beauty by learning everyday skin care routines, grooming techniques, and sanitation. Using your face as a canvas, develop your everyday look with confidence by learning skin tone matching for foundation and concealer makeup applications. Discover natural glam makeup placement techniques while identifying various face shapes, eye shapes, and skin types. This class is also perfect for youth preparing for interviews, internships, or interested in pursuing a future career as a Makeup Artist. Taught by William Blake - Students learn the basic principles and health benefits of any one of the three Martial Art styles of your choice listed below.  Topics to be covered may include: kicks, punches, blocks, forms, tumbling, falls, breathing, history, and self-defense.  At the end of the course, students will be able to test for a belt in their Martial Art style.  Hapkido will involve tumbling.  All adult classes at each location will be Tang Soo Do.  Classes are once a week for eight weeks.  Pre-registration is required; no walk-in's will be accepted.  Online registration only.  No class March 26 and 31, and April 2 and 4.***Parent Participation is required for Baby Dragons and Little Dragons classes. One (1) parent per one (1) registered participant is required to participate for the entire class.  ***Class meets once a week per session. Time permitting, one (1) additional make up class maybe included due to a postponement or cancellation initiated by Charles County Recreation.An Additional Equipment fee of $45.00 will be collected at the first class.

The Creative StylistAn exciting hairstyling lesson using a mannequin to create a braided ponytail that can be used for any occasion (school, dance recital, prom, interviews, etc.). This styling technique also teaches pinups, box braids, and cornrows. Course also has a supply fee of $50 to be collected at registration to cover supply kit that student will keep.   Finding Your GlowEnhance your natural beauty by learning everyday skin care routines, grooming techniques, and sanitation. Using your face as a canvas, develop your everyday look with confidence by learning skin tone matching for foundation and concealer makeup applications. Discover natural glam makeup placement techniques while identifying various face shapes, eye shapes, and skin types. This class is also perfect for youth preparing for interviews, internships, or interested in pursuing a future career as a Makeup Artist.
